
Korean actor Park Ji Hoon has passed away while battling stomach cancer at the age of 31.
The sad news was shared by the actor's family on his own Instagram earlier today, May 15, citing that he died four days earlier.
The statement said, “We wrote this because we are worried that some might not have heard the news.
“We deeply thank everyone who sent their warm comfort and encouragement even during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. Thanks to you, we were not alone as we sent my younger brother to heaven.
“Your support was a huge source of strength not only to me but to our entire family. We will never forget it.
“Please always be careful about the virus and I hope you always stay healthy. Once again, I want to thank you.”
Park Ji Hoon was a freelance model turned actor who starred in the 2017 tvN drama “Chicago Typewriter.”
